Ein Schlüsselthema für IINAS ist die nachhaltige Landnutzung als integrierende Perspektive der ressourceneffizienten Produktion und Nutzung von

Biomasse für Ernährung, Energie und Stoffe,
Ökosystem-Dienstleistungen (Agrar- und Waldbiodiversität)
Rohstoffen (Energie, Erze, Mineralien, Wasser)

Ziele

Nachhaltige globale Landnutzung

Welche Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen sind an die weltweite Landnutzung zu stellen?
Ist hierfür ein globaler “Standard” zielführend – und wenn ja: wie kann er entwickelt und implementiert werden – und mit wem?
IINAS leitete zu diesen Fragen das mehrjährige Forschungsprojekt GLOBALANDS und ist weiterhin zu diesen Fragen u.a. im Rahmen der IEA Bioenergy aktiv.
